Life is an adventure, not a package tour!
Participatory, experiential small group travel allows you to see places from a new perspective! We take care of logistics but without scheduling your activities, allowing you to take your own lead rather than following an umbrella. We don't tell you where to eat, go discover your own small, family-run tavern.
A love for travel, and a career in the business, led to my obtaining captain's licenses in Greece and Croatia, and taking friends sailing around the world for more than 20 years.
My Philosophy
I believe being an active part of a crew and exploring your own paths is not only more rewarding, it's more immersive. While we visit some 'must-see' places, we are also able to get to places and experiences cruise ships and buses can't.
“Tourists don’t know where they’ve been, travelers don’t know where they’re going.”

A 'slow travel' sentiment that is true anywhere:
"If you only have a week or so in Italy my advice is not to try to see too much. Rather settle into one region and savour the nuances and rhythms of life in your chosen corner." -- Andrew Smith, My Italy
